Cozy and felt like home!
A beautiful cabin away from the city! Cozy and felt like home! Our daughter loved the swing out front. We had so much fun with the fire pit and outside table! They Left us the coolest gift bag of Kentucky goodies!! Amazing stay!
We had the best time celebrating my son’s 10th birthday
We had the best time celebrating my son’s 10th birthday at Ashlee’s little slice of heaven in the woods (prior to our day hiking in the Red River Gorge.) Our son loved climbing the stairs up to the lofted room with the beds. I was so appreciative of all the special touches—a happy birthday sign on the tv, very thoughtful local welcome gifts, a cool record player, and plenty of games! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!!
Great place to reset and rest
Great place to reset and rest. Very peaceful and serene. So impressed with how clean and up-to-date the furniture was. The bed was super relaxing and I have to find out where they got their towels from! The outside firepit and deck were well-manicured and I greatly enjoyed sitting around the fire. The little extras inside the house (gift bag, tv welcome display, fridge drinks, etc.) demonstrate that they care and are willing to go the extra mile. Loved our stay!

Such a cute home-y cabin in the woods! It was a very nice getaway to enjoy some much needed relaxation, peace, and quiet. Cabin is well stocked with all necessities. Truly enjoyed the patio and fire pit. Be aware it’s a dry county so get alcohol before you go! Dollar General is only 10 min away and B&E Frosty freeze in Ezel (15 min away) has plenty of food and ice cream options, we loved it! Broke Leg Falls was close and a simple little hike to see the waterfall. Extra points for being a dog friendly place so our pup could join us. Ashlee is very responsive and a wonderful host! Thanks for having us!

Cozy Gem
What a cozy gem! This was perfect for our family's needs. We were able to hike locally, fix dinner by the fire, and we had everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable and there were many niceties throughout the house. The list of amenities was spot on and we liked that the paper goods were not bottom of the barrel. The hosts were very responsive and treated us like family. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
Wonderful Gem
The wife and I stayed the weekend for a relaxing getaway. From the time we opened the door the owners had set the level of hospitality very high by personalizing it for our visit. This and the cleanliness of the house made this an amazing experience. We found ourselves spending hours of time outside at the fire pit watching nature and enjoying the quiet and peacefulness. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others in the future.
